*실제로 small to mid-sized company란 단어는 없고, small과 mid-sized를 구분해서 써야함!

Hierarchical /ˌhaɪəˈrɑːrkɪkl/
: 계층적인, 위계가 있는
→ 무언가가 위에서 아래로 단계나 순서대로 나뉘어 있는 구조를 말해요.

예를 들어, 회사에는 사장, 부장, 과장, 사원 같은 단계가 있잖아요? 이런 식으로 높은 사람부터 낮은 사람까지 단계별로 나뉜 구조를 hierarchical하다고 해요.
